  • “I had the privilege of working with Laila for our staff retreat in Los Angeles. They supported with planning and on-the-ground support so that I was able to engage with my team without having to worry about managing logistics. Laila was an excellent partner, asking great questions and anticipating our team's needs after getting to know the goal for our retreat. It was such a relief to have their support, having one big project off my plate. I trusted them to be communicative about the progress, ask questions, and make decisions when needed, all the while keeping me informed. Laila was able to think of the things I didn't, especially with regard to accessibility and COVID safety. On the ground, they had everything covered -- from stocking our wellness station to making sure our food arrived on time to handling last minute errands with grace and quick thinking (because there are always last minute errands!). I look forward to when we can work together again!”

-Danielle "D" Ceribo, MediaJustice, Senior Executive Assistant

  • “Being able to attend several of your workshops and then follow-up with 1:1 coaching was such a blessing and really helped move me forward through some old patterns that were getting me stuck. The time I got to spend in your workshops and 1:1 with you were such synergistic experiences that reinforced messages/themes that have come up in different areas of my life that have all contributed to my growth and wellness (somatic therapy, swimming, boxing, reading, writing, drawing). In general I now feel an unwavering confidence and strength in myself that I have honestly never felt before. I feel like my life is bigger now that I am more comfortable with discomfort and have made space for it all... the messiness, the old trauma, the celebrations, the unknowing, the remembering, the pain, the healing... all of this expansive life!”

-Nerissa Broughton, M.A., Senior Manager of 2Gen Programming, The Primary School

  • "Laila is smart, engaging, and listens like they're the advisor you want on your team. Just as importantly, they're practical and has a sense of humor. I loved working with them."

-Jen Weaver McKernan, Communications Director at United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America

  • "Laila coordinated both a national campaign and an on-line conference simultaneously. Laila led both projects with great success, creating a timeline, campaign plan, and conference agenda that went beyond our expectations. Laila handled everything while staying on time and within our budget and was an invaluable addition to our organization."

Debbie Churgai, Executive Director, Americans for Safe Access

  • "Laila is so skilled at modeling possibility around conflict. Whether it’s reflecting the cycles of how it can feel to set or receive boundaries, or offering examples of outcomes from conflict that disrupt our worst fears, Laila offers possibility for practice of communication and conflict."

    — Carolyn Collado, Founder, Recovery For the Revolution

  • "Laila has been an exceptional mentor to me since our first meeting. Their insight, knowledge and encouragement has helped me fine tune skills and communication within my role, and set me up for success moving forward."

—Melissa Kenton, Events and Outreach Manager, MCR Labs
